40 years of his life has been spent in or around the sign business.  Classically trained in all forms of signmaking.  This is Alan Pippenger.  In the 70’s when he served a three year apprenticeship under a master sign painter in Dothan, Alabama, there was only one way to make a custom sign. Paint and Brush.  In 1984 the first “Sign Computers” changed forever the way signs were made.  By 1986 Sign Making Computers were common and Alan was installing them for sign shops and municipalities across the Southeast U.S. In 1990 when the first digital printers were appearing at trade shows he was learning the finer points of those machines. “I’m not successful unless my customer succeeds in every way.”"Why just sell something, instead improve your customers life, make a better world.”
